Buttons of Life

Take my word; it is not that easy to create content with a slow internet speed. It requires quite an amount of dedication to keep on hitting the same buttons again and again. At times, the refresh button actually yells back and says to stop the iterative process. But then, does it happen. No.

Pink Floyd has started singing back, download manager is ticking, late nights getting wild staring nights and books back to the racks, where they belong. A pile of newspapers arranged back to its place. The past 1 week, I was completely out of this world, my things, and my place all disheveled, waiting for it to get over. No music, no movie and nothing other than studies. Yes, I just passed a storm, my end semester exams.

But is this post meant for it. Did I think to write about my end semester exams when actually I started trying to open this blogspot editor? Ok, some minutes have surely passed, but then how could I stray away from the reason for which I intended for.
Honestly speaking, I let it go!

What is this? What the hell has he written? You may be thinking like this. But take my word; it is not that easy to create content with a slow internet speed. It requires quite an amount of dedication to keep on hitting the same buttons again and again.
So tomorrow onwards again the same old routine, right? The day actually starts with a sort of fight within myself; to get up and reach the mess for my breakfast in time. But in this semester I had been quite disciplined in this regard. The first sem, I remember, 60% of the days, I didn't took my breakfast. It started improving from the second and now here I am. Almost all the days, I have been regular in taking my breakfast. Hey wait; did the last few lines were only about breakfast? Am I writing this post just for it? And poor you; reading it still; what you get out from it, breakfast?
No. Something more;

Mess reminds me of one word called mess. Yes. Of-course. The opposite way. If I say, I am good at it. at least messing my own time. messing with things that I should have been got over by now. Till now; But see, it’s still there. Till date. And I am messing with them till date. Ok; how about this now, from breakfast to mess. Oh my dear reader why are you still wasting your time here. Ok. Enough now. But take my word; it is not that easy to create content with a slow internet speed. It requires quite an amount of dedication to keep on hitting the same buttons again and again.

The Rock, You and Me

Not every mood wants the same music, not every music wants the same lyrics, not every lyrics reaches the heart and not every heart beats with music.

Music, for some is a drop of life. But this drop needs to taste different at different times.
I will break my head on rock now, yes on Rock music.
Rock music, a genre which has more sub-genres than any other form of music on this earth.

My fav band, Pink Floyd, psychedelic rock, but not all the time can I sedate with it. I need to hit myself with heavy metal, Metallica, to break the jinks. Then some grunge, Nirvana, to again form a cloud. An alternative rock, Coldplay, in between helps a lot. Progressive Rock, Porcupine tree, keeps the tempo going. Soft Rock, U2, always there for the silent times as a good friend. And then suddenly a Hard Rock, Guns n Roses, to surprise oneself.

Well, it is always a better idea to loose oneself free in the old times of the great Beatles and Elvis, rightly said that no one forgets rock n roll. But then I need to come back. So for it, I use a pop rock or a rap rock, as it has been adopted by Green day or Linkin Park or Red Hot Chili Peppers. And as I cannot stay away long from psycedelia, but this time a change being desired, Dream Theater, sub-genre'ing on alternative+psychedelic+hard rock, is sought. And for grunge, it can now be fulfilled by Pearl Jam.

Well once in a while I plunge in blue rock as well, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin. and some times when on the rough road, on the lines of The great unmatchable Jim Morrison (The Doors).
Once in a while, experimenting with experimental rock such as SOAD (System of a Down) helps as an appetizer.
And surfing in between, roving on the good numbers of Incubus, Bon-Jovi, Sting, Duran-Duran, Eagles, Scorpions, Bryan Adams.
By the way, sometimes off-beating oneself completely away from rock and listening to James Blunt, Michael Jackson, Boyzone is always a refreshing experience.
